Sunshine Stars have promoted seven of their most promising U-19 players to the senior team, DAILY POST reports.
Ondo State Football Agency, ODSFA, Chairman, Divine Ogbonnaya, confirmed the players’ promotion.
The promoted players are Oreyomi Bamigbe, David Joseph, Uche Anaro, Alade Damilola, Yakubu Shuibu, Ugochukwu Lawrence and Khalil Nurudeen.
The players have also signed professional contracts with the Owena Waves.
According to the club, the players earned their promotion following careful monitoring of their performances.
All the players are expected to fight for a place in the squad next season.
Sunshine Stars will aim to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
